The Tree Inspections Map gives teams a live view of all tree-related inspections happening in the area.

It’s built for arborists, contractors, and city staff who manage urban trees.

Map Overview

Each point on the map represents a single tree in the area.

Every marker includes:

  • Tree species (if available)
  • Date of last inspection
  • Health status
  • Action needed (e.g. prune, remove, monitor)
  • Inspector name

Optional details can include diameter, age estimate, and photos.

Status at a Glance

Markers are color-coded based on inspection results:

  • Green = healthy
  • Yellow = monitor
  • Red = action needed
  • Grey = inspection overdue

This lets you instantly understand which areas need attention.

Click for Full Report

Click any tree marker to see:

  • Full inspection notes
  • Photos
  • Previous actions
  • Scheduled follow-ups

You can also edit or update the tree’s record right from the map.

Filter by Priority

Use filters to focus on what matters most.

Show only trees marked for removal.

Or only trees inspected in the last 7 days.

Other filters include:

  • Tree species
  • Health rating
  • Assigned contractor
  • Inspection zone

This makes it easy to plan work or report progress.

Assign and Track Work

Each tree record can be assigned to a contractor or team.

Once action is taken — like pruning or removal — the status can be updated.

This keeps everything documented and visible.

No more spreadsheets or endless emails.

Field Access

Works on phones and tablets.

Inspectors can update tree records while on-site.

They can upload photos, mark tasks complete, or flag new issues directly from the field.

No double data entry needed.

Custom Layers

Add layers for:

  • Tree planting zones
  • Maintenance areas
  • Parks and green spaces
  • Risk zones (e.g. near power lines)

You can toggle these on or off to give more context to inspections.
