The National Land Survey of Finland (Maanmittauslaitos) is the country's authority for mapping, the cadastre, and geographic information. It produces and distributes Finland's authoritative topographic database, national elevation model from lidar, orthophotos, place names, and property boundaries.
Finland opened these reference datasets as free open data under CC BY, available through downloads and an extensive open data file service and OGC APIs. It is the authoritative foundation for mapping and terrain analysis in Finland.
