Lantmäteriet is the Swedish authority for mapping, the cadastre, and land registration. It distributes Sweden's authoritative geographic base data, including topographic maps, the national elevation model, orthophotos, place names, and property boundaries.
Following Sweden's open data reforms, a growing set of these products is released as open data (often CC0), free for reuse, with the rest available under licence. Lantmäteriet's data is the reference foundation for national-scale mapping and terrain analysis across Sweden.
