A solid week for exports and the field app: CSV exports now include coordinates, US coordinate systems land in the CRS picker, and the layer panel gets a density refresh.

Features

Coordinates in CSV exports

Point datasets exported to CSV now include latitude, longitude, and geometry columns so the geographic information travels with the file. Opening the download in Excel or another spreadsheet tool no longer loses the location data.

US coordinate systems in the CRS picker

The coordinate reference system picker — used for DXF and other projected exports — now includes a full set of US state plane and projected systems. Previously, the list was heavily weighted toward European projections, which caused alignment issues for US-based exports.

Auto-fill current user and timestamp in the field app

Field app task buttons can now be configured to automatically write the logged-in worker's name and the submission time into designated columns. This is distinct from the system "Created by" / "Modified by" columns — it lets you stamp a specific action, like "Inspected by" or "Completed at," into any column on a specific button press.

Denser layer panel

The layer list in the left sidepanel is now more compact — shorter rows, tighter spacing — inspired by the density you'd find in tools like Figma or Linear. Projects with many layers are easier to navigate.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Created/modified at and by columns now export with values instead of blank cells
  • People columns export as display names rather than raw user IDs
  • Deleting the last row of a layer now prompts whether to remove the empty layer
  • Marker color changes now apply to the map immediately instead of with a delay
  • Boolean filters now apply as soon as you pick a column, without requiring an extra toggle
  • Drawing widget now scrolls correctly and sizes properly in horizontal layout sections
  • Geometry and system columns are now blocked from being retyped in the data table editor
  • WMS legend graphics now render at the correct size
  • Search is now available in the single-select layer picker in workflow nodes
  • Save-to-project modal wording clarified to better distinguish dataset name from destination
  • Navigating from Navi to a workflow no longer bounces back to the map editor
  • Styling panel no longer triggers cascading updates that caused UI slowdowns
