Atlas Weekly: W-20

This week brings persistent login sessions across browser tabs, faster WMS layer loading, and numerous fixes for custom icons, forms, and map exports.

Features

Persistent login sessions

Your login session now persists across browser restarts and synchronizes between tabs. Open Atlas in multiple tabs and they all stay in sync—no more re-authenticating when you switch tabs or reopen your browser.

Faster WMS and raster layers

WMS, WMTS, and DataHub layers now load with larger 512×512 tiles instead of 256×256, reducing the number of server requests by 4×. This means faster map loading and smoother panning, especially for large raster layers.

Improved custom icon rendering

Custom icons now load more reliably with better caching and unique key generation. Icons display correctly across different browsers and sessions, and performance is improved through optimized image loading.
