Atlas Weekly: W-15

This week adds customizable text sizes for map exports, HEIC image format support, better session stability, and numerous interface improvements.

Features

Adjustable text size in map exports

Control the font size for legends, scale bars, and attributions when exporting maps. Choose from predefined sizes to ensure your exported maps are readable at any print size—perfect for presentations, reports, and large-format prints.

HEIC image support

Upload photos directly from iPhones and other Apple devices without converting them first. Atlas now handles HEIC format images automatically, including proper GPS coordinate extraction for southern and western hemispheres.

Improved session handling

Instead of unexpectedly signing you out when token refresh fails, Atlas now shows a clear modal with options to retry or sign out. This keeps you informed and in control when connectivity issues occur.

The location search now intelligently handles coordinate formats. Paste coordinates in either lat/lng or lng/lat order—Atlas will detect and correct the format automatically if needed. Better error messages help when coordinates can't be parsed.
