Alternative Fueling Station Locator
Find alternative fueling stations in the United States. By default, this tool displays only available, publicly accessible stations.
About This Map
This interactive map shows the locations of alternative fueling stations across the United States. It includes stations offering electric vehicle (EV) charging, hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), propane, ethanol (E85), and biodiesel.
By default, only publicly accessible and currently available stations are displayed. You can filter by fuel type, network, and status to find exactly what you need.
What Are Alternative Fueling Stations?
Alternative fueling stations supply energy sources beyond conventional gasoline and diesel. As adoption of electric vehicles and other alternative fuel vehicles grows, the network of fueling stations continues to expand across North America.
Common types of alternative fueling stations include:
- EV Charging Stations — Level 2 and DC fast chargers for battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles
- Hydrogen Stations — Fuel cell vehicle refueling points
- CNG and LNG Stations — Compressed and liquefied natural gas for fleet and commercial vehicles
- Propane (LPG) Stations — Autogas refueling locations
- E85 Stations — Ethanol-blend fuel for flex-fuel vehicles
- Biodiesel Stations — B20 and higher blends for diesel engines
Data Source
Station data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Station Locator, maintained by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The dataset is updated regularly and covers both public and private stations across all 50 states.
