Geoscience Australia is the national agency for geoscience and geospatial information. It produces and distributes authoritative continental datasets — national elevation models, geology and geophysics, bathymetry, topographic base data, and Earth observation through the Digital Earth Australia program.
Its data is largely open under Creative Commons Attribution and accessible through download portals and OGC web services. Geoscience Australia is the reference source when national open data catalogs do not provide the precision or thematic depth needed for terrain, geology, or remote sensing work.
