Collaborating in Atlas
Atlas is designed to make collaboration effortless, whether you’re working with a team or sharing your work publicly. From project management in the dashboard to real-time annotations and comments, Atlas provides all the tools you need to work together efficiently.
In this lesson, we’ll explore how to collaborate with your team, leave feedback, and manage access to your projects.
🗂️ Understanding the Atlas Dashboard
The Atlas dashboard provides an overview of your projects and workspace settings:
- Workspace Projects: Shared with the entire workspace.
- Your Projects: Private projects or those you’ve shared with others.
- Shared With Me: Projects others have shared with you.
- Shared Datasets: Centralized datasets available for workspace members (refer back to Lesson 3).
- Workspace Settings: Update your team’s name, branding, and manage team members.
You can edit team members’ access (view or edit), invite new members via email, and customize workspace preferences here.
📍 Collaboration in a Project
Once inside a project, collaboration features make it easy to work together:

- Create threads by replying to comments.
- Mark tasks as resolved when they’re completed. Resolved comments stay in the comments section for reference.
-

- Enable or disable voting (thumbs up/down) for comments.
- Allow voting for all users or restrict it to Atlas account holders.
🌍 Sharing Your Project
Atlas makes sharing your work simple:
-

- Located in the upper-right corner.
- Projects are private by default.
-
Sharing Options
- Share with your workspace.
- Make your project public to share via a link (not indexed or published elsewhere).
- Protect the project with a password if needed.
-
Invite Collaborators
