 When do I need to place my order to receive it by Christmas?
The dates vary by product and region. If you begin a checkout, we will provide an estimated delivery date based on your specific order and shipping address before we take any payment information.

Due to the global pandemic, more people are shopping online and from the safety of their home and supply chains / shipping providers are more constrained than ever before. We will continue to update this FAQ as we receive any new information from our partners, but we do expect that these dates may change. The sooner you place your order, the better!

 How do I ____ with the editor?

Some specific questions that we are often asked include:

  • My Road Trip included a Ferry Segment - how do I add this to my map?
  • We do not yet support drawing a water crossing on the map, but you can add a blank location between two ferry ports to add multiple road trips to a map. See an example on our YouTube channel here


  • How do I draw multiple flights from the same origin?
  • You can add an airport multiple times to a Flight Map. Add your "home" airport before and after each destination airport to create this effect. See an example on our YouTube channel here


  • How can I start Flights from multiple airports?
  • You can add a blank location between two segments. See an example on our YouTube channel here


  • Can I put multiple pins/points of interest on a map without route segments?
  • Yes! Use a Road Trip Map and add a blank location between each point of interest.

     What types of maps can I make?

    We currently support 4 types of maps:

    • Flight Trip Maps
    • City Maps
    • Road Trip Maps
    • Hybrid Maps

    We do not yet support the following types of maps, but we plan to add them in the coming months!

  • Cruises / Nautical Maps - Cruises are a highly requested feature, but we do not yet support water routes.
  • Train / Rail Maps - Trains routes are another highly requested feature that we are not yet able to support.
  • File Upload - Trips recorded with a GPS receiver or digital logbook (.gpx, .json, .xml, .csv, etc) cannot be imported at this time.
  • Layouts with multiple maps - Multiple City Views on a single map / layout are not yet possible.
  • Advanced Editor - Editing route colors, location icons, map outline shape, etc. are all features that are on our road map.
  •  How do I find location ____ with the editor's search bar?

    We are working to hard to make our editor as easy to use as possible! However, there are still some locations that are difficult to find.

    Here are some tips:

  • The city I am looking for isn't found.
  • Our system works best with specific addresses rather than cities. Try to find a specific business or address inside the city you are looking for to allow the map editor to find a specific location.

     How long will it take to receive my map?

    Once you complete checkout, your browser will be redirected to the order status page. We will also email you a link to this page.

    If you have ordered any Digital Download maps, you will be able to download these from the order status page.

    Once you click the Download button to obtain a full resolution copy of your Digital Download map, we will be unable to process any refund requests. If there are issues with your previewed map, please contact support@atlas.co

    We begin creating files for printing as soon as you begin your checkout. Once your print files are ready (usually before that status page loads), you have one final opportunity to review your map(s) before we begin printing.

    A digital download is included with every print map, which you may also download from here.

    If you notice any problems with any of your maps before approving them, you can click the Edit This Map to be navigated back to the editor to make changes.

    • This will place your order on hold and prevent your maps from being sent to print so that you have time to make your changes.
    • If you accidentally click the "Edit This Map button or change your mind and don't need to make any updates, you can click the Remove Hold from Order button on the Order Status Page.
    Once you have finished making any edits to your map on the editor, click the Submit Map Updates button to publish your changes.
    • This will remove the hold from your order and we will begin preparing your updated print files.

    Once you are satisfied with your map design, click the Print My Maps! button on the order status page. If you do not see this button on the page, either

    • Your order has been placed on hold, which you can remove by clicking the Remove Hold from Order button, or
    • Your order has already been released for printing and shipping. You are guaranteed a minimum of 10 hours to review your maps before our system will automatically release your order for printing to get it to you as quickly as possible.

    The order status page contains tracking and shipping information for your order as soon as it is available. Keep an eye on your email inbox for order status updates and check back here periodically for updated shipping information!

    Per our Refund Policy, atlas.co is not responsible for errors based on your inputs in the design of your custom map. Once your map(s), are released to the printer, you are unable to make any edits to your design(s), so make sure to take a close look at them!

    Every order is given 10+ hours for a customer to review their order and approve it or place it on hold. If no action is taken by the customer, atlas.co will automatically release the order for printing to get it to the customer as quickly as possible.

    If an order is placed on hold by the customer and is not updated for 7 days, atlas.co will attempt to contact the customer. If atlas.co is unable to have the hold removed by the customer, atlas.co will cancel and refund the order.

     How are atlas.co Gift Cards delivered?
    Gift cards are delivered electronically via email or SMS message. You will receives a unique gift card code that can be used at checkout to redeem its value.
     What countries do you ship to?
    We have 100+ printing partners located worldwide to service as many countries as possible. The list below contains the countries that we currently support *. If your country is not listed, consider placing an order anyway - we are constantly updating our printing partners and will do everything in our power to fulfill your order or provide you with a prompt refund!

     What are your shipping address requirements?

    Requirements for shipping addresses depend on the country you wish to ship your order to. These requirements come from local shipping providers, and they are mandatory for the shipping providers to accept the package.

     When will my order ship?
    Once we receive your order, we will begin processing it immediately. Orders typically ship in around 2 business days, but this can vary seasonally and by your location. You can accelerate shipping by reviewing and clicking the Print my Maps! button on your order status page. See the How long will it take to receive my map? FAQ for additional details.
     How can I track my order?
    You will receive an email or SMS notification when your order ships and can also view shipping status on your order status page. This will include all of your tracking details. We have 100+ print partners worldwide, so shipping times vary. Your tracking information is the best source for your expected delivery date.
     What type of paper do you print the maps on?
    The posters are printed on Museum-quality poster made on long-lasting matte (uncoated) paper with a paper weight of 200 gsm / 80 lb. The ink is not heat sensitive, so there should be no issues with lamination if you want to put the print in a high humidity environment!
     Can you tell me more about your frames?
    Our frames are for indoor use and include a hanging kit. Your map will be covered with shatterproof, transparent plexiglass.
     Are posters shipped inside their frames/hangers?

    Posters and frames/hangers are shipped together, but not yet assembled. This allows us to get both to you faster and reduces our prices. Assembly of the frame takes minutes and each frame includes all required hanging hardware and easy-to-assemble instructions. Drop in the poster, and it’s ready to hang on your wall!

     How do I install my poster into the frame?

    Posters and frames/hangers are shipped together, but not yet assembled. This allows us to get both to you faster and reduces our prices. Assembly of the frame takes minutes and each frame includes all required hanging hardware and easy-to-assemble instructions. Drop in the poster, and it’s ready to hang on your wall!

     Do the frames include hanging hardware?
    Yes! Our frames include a hanging kit!
     What happens if a frame or hanger is out of stock?
    If the frame you selected is out of stock, we will notify you. You can choose a different color or wait until we have it back in stock (which will cause a delay in your order).
     What is your quality guarantee?
    If you are not satisfied with your product's quality, you have 10 days after receipt of your order to contact us. Please email us at support@atlas.co and provide a photo and description of the quality issue. If it is defective, we will immediately send you a replacement. For more information, please review our Refund / Replacement Policy.
     What if my item arrives damaged?
    If your item is damaged during shipping, contact us at support@atlas.co within 10 days and include a photo of the damage. We will reprint your order and have it shipped out to you immediately. For more information, please review our Refund / Replacement Policy.
     I have misplaced my confirmation e-mail. How do I get it?
    Please email us at support@atlas.co. Provide your order number and we will re-send your confirmation. Remember to check your spam folder.
